1- What is Delfin Thermoproff, and what does it do?

Delfin Thermoproff is a natural insulation plaster with high insulation properties against heat, sound, fire, and moisture. Its composition is made of natural stones, and each component provides a different benefit, enabling four types of insulation with a single product.  

 

2- What is the warranty period for Delfin Thermoproff?

Delfin Thermoproff is 98% natural. Its breathable structure increases its durability over time, ensuring a warranty period equal to the lifespan of the building.  

 

3- Can Delfin Thermoproff be painted?

Yes, you can apply paint, ceramic tiles, coatings (such as porcelain, metal, laminate, wood, or stone), and more on Delfin Thermoproff. Delfin Decorative Plaster is particularly recommended.  

 

4- How thick should Delfin Thermoproff be applied, and how is it determined?

The required thickness depends on the climate zone of the building and factors such as surface material, structure, architectural features, and location. A site inspection determines the correct thickness through insulation calculations.  

 

5- How can I determine the climate zone of my building?

According to the Thermal Insulation Regulation for Buildings, Turkey is divided into four climate zones. This regulation has been in effect since November 1, 2008, and is overseen by the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement.  

 

6- How much energy savings can Delfin Thermoproff provide?

Delfin Thermoproff can provide 40% to 60% savings on energy costs. To maximize savings, we recommend also insulating floors, windows, and roofs.  

 

7- What is the weight of Delfin Thermoproff before and after application? Does it add extra weight to the building?

A 15 kg package of Delfin Thermoproff covers approximately 1 m² at a minimum thickness of 2 cm, weighing 10 kg after application. Its natural stone dust and aggregate composition ensure it does not add significant weight to the building.  

 

8- What are the suitable weather conditions for applying Delfin Thermoproff

Delfin Thermoproff performs excellently in all climates and should be applied in temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.  

 

9-Can Delfin Thermoproff be applied to an occupied building with painted surfaces?

Yes, but any peeling paint must be removed, and cracks must be repaired. Apply Delfin Thermoproff Insulation Primer before the main application.  

 

10- What is Delfin Thermoproff made of? Does it contain chemicals?

Delfin Thermoproff is 98% natural. It consists of breathable, porous aggregates, volcanic and artificial stones, and inorganic materials in plaster and mortar form.  

 

11- On which surfaces can Delfin Thermoproff be applied?

Delfin Thermoproff can be applied directly to surfaces such as bricks, pumice, and aerated concrete without preparation. It can also be used on plastered, painted, or gypsum surfaces.  

 

12- What is the delivery time for Delfin Thermoproff?

Orders within Turkey are delivered in 3 to 10 business days. For international orders, delivery times vary depending on the country.  

 

13- Who can apply Delfin Thermoproff?

Delfin Thermoproff can be applied by our authorized dealers across Turkey.  

 

14- What is the consumption rate of Delfin Thermoproff?

One 15 kg bag covers approximately 1.3-1.5 m² on surfaces like brick or pumice and 1.8-2 m² on painted or prepared surfaces at a minimum thickness of 2 cm.  

 

15- What energy certification class can be achieved with Delfin Thermoproff?

You can obtain a Class B or C energy certification with Delfin Thermoproff.  

 

16- What are the advantages of Delfin Thermoproff over other insulation systems?

17- Can Delfin Thermoproff only be applied manually, or can machines be used?

Delfin Thermoproff can be applied manually with a trowel or using a piston plaster machine. Other machines are not recommended.  

 

18- Is Delfin Thermoproff listed in the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization's unit price book?

Yes, Delfin Thermoproff is listed as Natural Insulation Plaster under code Y27.562/13-14-15.  

 

19- Does Delfin Thermoproff have a UTO-approved report?

Delfin Thermoproff complies with the TS EN 998-1 standard and is certified by TSE. Additionally, it has a UTO-approved report.  

 

20- Can Delfin Thermoproff be used only on interior and exterior facades?Delfin Thermoproff offers a wide range of applications, including foundations, retaining walls, basements, roofs, terraces, elevator shafts, and parking lot roofs.  

 

21- Does Delfin Thermoproff provide sound insulation from external noise?

Yes, it provides 46 dB sound insulation when applied at a 2 cm thickness.
